DA-DA-DA- DUD

Ok, I went and saw the latest installment of Indiana Jones... It was good, I think that Ford still does well in movies however this one left me lacking after the credits. In my opinion it was made as more of a family/comedy than a real serious genre like the past three, to me it was a little mocking of the whole Indiana Jones hype, I mean they made Harrison sort of a bumbling rusty old coot rather than an esteemed archaeologist whose been cracking whips for decades. The reason they did make another one after 27 years was to set the mood for the series of movies coming out which casts Shia Labouf (MUTT) as the young Indiana Jones (JR). I mean all in all a good movie but a little silly compared to the first three, I liked the fact that Karen Allen's (Marion) role was reprised, I thought she was awesome and still cute and bubbly after all these years. If you or you kids haven't seen the first ones I would recommend that they watch them after you see this one instead of before as you really don't need to know who he is to enjoy it, I did watch them before to kind of get the feeling back and was disappointed when seeing the new one because the old ones are such classic well done SERIOUS films, and this one was so different. I give it (***) out of five solely as a nod to Harrison. It is a great movie and very family friendly!

Sorry you were disappointed. I will probably love it if it's a family-type comedy!

I have been a Shia LeBeouf fan since he was on Nickelodeon in "Even Stevens".

So...lemme make sure i'm smellin' what yer cookin'...

1. Harrison Ford is old, sadly, and they portrayed him as such.

2. Indy III will never be his dad.

3. Marion is still cool.

4. The movie was actually 1.5 stars but due to the mere presence of Harrison Ford, elevated it another 1.5.

Yeah, yeah, i see that...want my take? This is not mine, it actually comes from Moondoggie over at The Woodshack..."Tarzan meets Scooby Doo meets Stargate." Perfect.

yea pretty much. It was a good movie but I'm just sad that Ford wasn't able to be his full whip cracking self, I mean he is still awesome and they could have given him a little more umph.
