True Love

Well, I've been thinking and It seems that there are a lot of people out there who get in a hurry to find true love... I am guilty as well!! But I am trying to change, it's a long process but I know that there are a few of my friends that are struggling with it. I feel that true love only comes along once in a lifetime, And that if we are patient and willing to wait the results will be worth the wait. There is a difference between being in love and being blinded by love (A new friend of mine quoted this, I really like it). And that sometimes we think we've found the right person and for whatever reason it doesn't work out and then we automatically start to think, why did this happen, maybe I don't deserve love, they're too good for me. Well with that train of thought we arent going to get very far!!! I mean, who's to say that some of us are to good for others? If we constantly are thinking that way than we can never have a healthy self-esteem! nobody can tell you that you're not good enough for them, you deserve only what you let yourself! In other words if you say I don't deserve that then you don't, but if you be positive and say that nothing is beyond your reach than anything is possible! And even if it doesn't work out it's not the end of the world!!! It does seem that way, but you have to learn to move on and accept the things you cannot change!! It takes a while, but time heals all and once you can let go things will be much more smoother. And sometimes it does all work out and in true love there is true happiness! And if you've found that then congradulations!! Good for you! And you deserve all the happiness in the world! But for those of us who are still waiting and still looking... Don't get in a hurry, love will find you when the time is right. You may think you're ready but maybe there are still a few wrinkles to smooth out but in time you will find what you're looking for. remember that sometimes in order to find something you have to stop looking because sometimes it's right under your nose!! :)
